Using the tool

You may use Map Generator Fantasy to create and customize fictional geographic maps. The service is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted access or suitability for a particular purpose.

Your generated maps

You may use, modify, print, and distribute the original maps you generate for personal and commercial projects. Attribution is appreciated but is not required. This permission does not grant rights to third-party names, marks, or content you add yourself.

Website materials

The permission for generated maps does not automatically grant permission to republish this website's branding, articles, or source code as your own website.

Fictional geography

Generated maps illustrate imaginary places. Names may coincide with real names by chance. Distances and the scale bar are illustrative; these maps are not suitable for real navigation or surveying.

Keep a copy

Save an editable map file if you want to preserve your work. Local browser data can be cleared, and future generator updates may change how a seed is rendered.
