Privacy Policy
Your worlds belong on your device.

Map creation
Maps are generated in your browser. We do not operate an account system or upload your generated maps, imported map files, or label edits to a database. Exported files are downloaded directly to your device.
Local storage
The site uses your browser's local storage to remember your last map settings and edits. This is functional storage on your device. You can clear it through your browser's site-data settings. If storage is unavailable, map generation still works.
Shared links
The Share button puts map settings and edits into a URL fragment. Anyone you send that full link to can read and recreate the map, including its place names. URL fragments are not sent to our web server in ordinary HTTP requests.
Website infrastructure
The website is served through Cloudways and Cloudflare. These providers may process technical request data, including IP addresses, browser information and request times, for hosting, performance and security. The map editor does not add advertising pixels or external font requests. Cloudflare may insert performance or security code into delivered pages; its data handling is described in the provider’s privacy notice.
Optional Google Analytics
When analytics is enabled, Google Analytics 4 measures page visits, browser and device information, approximate location and basic tool actions only after you choose Allow analytics. Google receives technical connection data, including your IP address, to process measurements and derive approximate location. We do not send your map labels, seeds, shared map fragments, tool results, login details or private admin activity. Query strings and URL fragments are removed from the page and referrer URLs we send.
Choose Reject analytics to use the full website without loading the Google tag. You can change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Your choice is stored locally and is valid for six months. If you allow analytics, first-party _ga cookies can last up to one year and are not renewed on each visit. Withdrawing consent stops future tracking, clears these cookies on this site and reloads the page. It does not delete reports already received by Google. Read Google’s privacy policy.
External handling
If you share a map file or link using another service, that service's own privacy practices apply. Avoid including private personal information in labels you intend to share publicly.
